Air Nigeria To Commence Direct Flight To Johannesburg And London

VENTURES AFRICA – After three years of suspending flights to London and Johannesburg, South Africa; Air Nigeria will resume direct flights on these routes by May 16 and 17 this year.

 

The Airline has acquired two A330-200 Airbuses to commence the london and Johannesburg operation. Two more planes are due to arrive, and boost the airline operations.

 

Flights to London will be operated from the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos to the South Terminal of London Gatwick Airport where Passengers would have ease of connectivity across Europe as well as onward to North America. South Africa flight will be flown to O.R Tambo International Airport Johannesburg.

 

The re-introduction of this direct flight will boost business and tourism to Nigeria.

 

According to the Airline Managing Director, Kinife Kahssaye, the successive turn around of the airline in the last two years has positioned the airline to compete in the international market.

 

The airline has also secured traffic rights to Rome, Italy and Paris, to kick off by June.

 

Air Nigeria already has access to 10 African countries, thereby dominating the West Africa and Central Africa airline market.
