Sierra Leone has continued to receive attention from international partners as a result of its socio economic potentials, good governance and infrastructural development.
Sierra Leaone’s Head of Chancery to the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Al-Hassan K. Kondeh, recently engaged academics and business experts in Germany to discuss investment potentials and good governance in post-conflict Sierra Leone, reports Cocorioko, one of the country’s newspaper.
During the event, which was organized by the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD), aimed at exploring new strategies for the strengthening of intercultural relations and rebranding of nations to attract investment across Africa, Mr. Kodeh described the Sierra Leone as:
“A country that is full of investment opportunities to genuine investors and also a paradise on earth for potential tourist to Africa.”
Business investors looking to explore new opportunities should definitely spread their wings towards Sierra Leone’s trade, agriculture and tourism sector, as these were some of the areas Mr Kodeh pointed out as ripe for investment.
Part of an effort to provide relevant information and facilitate the registration of companies to do business in the country prompted the government to establish Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA). Through experienced professionals, companies will be provided sufficient support to boost profitable returns for their investment.
