Doing Business, a research project that measures business regulations and their enforcement across 183 economies, in their 2012 report ranked Morocco 94 compared to its 121 position in 2011. The core areas used in measuring the different economies in this latest report include, the ease of starting a business, resolving insolvency and trading across borders from June 2010 through May 2011.

According to the report, Morocco has implemented 15 business regulatory reforms since 2005. Compared to other global economies, here are some changes the country effected to improve its business regulations:

– Morocco simplified its construction permitting process

– They eased the administrative burden of tax compliance

– Provide greater protections to minority shareholders

Kingdom of Morocco is a country located in North Africa, with a population of over 30 million people. It is bordered by Western Sahara to the South, Algeria to the East and Spain to the North. Its capital city is Rabat, even though Casablanca is the largest city in the country. In Morocco, the official language is Arabic.
